More information
The La Morra Barolo DOCG from Elio Filippino presents itself in a strong garnet red color with orange highlights.
The intense bouquet is characterized by a complex variety of aromas of ripe berries - especially raspberries and blackberries. There are also subtle hints of grapes and dark chocolate. This Italian red wine pampers the palate with a full-bodied, persistent character that does not lose any of its elegance despite its power. The finish is wonderfully long-lasting and is accompanied by berry tones.
Vinification of Elio Filippino La Morra Barolo
The Nebbiolo grapes for this single-varietal wine are harvested by hand and carefully selected in Elio Filippino's wine cellar. The mash is then fermented at a controlled temperature. Once the fermentation process is complete, this wine rests in Slavonian oak for a total of 24 months.
