More information about La Sirène de Giscours Margaux AOC - Château Giscours
In the glass, the La Sirène de Giscours Margaux of Château Giscours shows a dense purple color. At the edge, this French red also shows a transition into garnet red. This French cuvée presents wonderfully expressive notes of black currants, mulberries, blackberries and blueberries in the glass. These are joined by hints of other fruits.
This wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine of this class, this Frenchman naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all its dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily need residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this powerful red wine is wonderfully velvety. The finish of this very ripening wine from the Bordeaux wine region, more precisely from Margaux, finally convinces with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the soils dominated by gravel and sand.
Vinification of the Château Giscours La Sirène de Giscours Margaux
This powerful red wine from France is made from Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot grapes. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Bordeaux. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of sand and gravel. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks and concrete at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, La Sirène de Giscours Margaux can continue to harmonize for 12 months on the fine lees in small wood.
