The Lamùri Nero d'Avola Sicilia DOC from Tasca d'Almerita is one of the most impressive pillars of the Tasca range. For this pure Nero d'Avola grapes are selected from higher altitudes of 450 to 750 metres above sea level.
The Lamùri Nero d'Avola by Tasca D'Almerita has an intense ruby red colour in the glass and a wonderfully expressive aroma of fruits such as juicy cherries and wild berries, complemented by fine spices such as cinnamon, cardamom and more. Elegant herbal notes reminiscent of Mediterranean undergrowth round off the bouquet of this ingenious red wine from Sicily.
On the palate, this elegant Sicilian red wine impresses with soft, smooth tannins, dense fruit and pleasing freshness. The finish is long and appealing.
Vinification of Lamùri Nero d'Avola
Lamuri means "love" in the Sicilian dialect. And out of the love and passion of eight generations in viticulture, this elegant, fruity red wine is produced from high altitudes vieyards in the Tenuta Regaleali.
The grapes for this Tasca Nero d'Avola are grown between 450 and 700 metres a.s.l.
