More information
The Cavallotto Langhe Nebbiolo is a first-class red wine. It presents a wonderfully dense, ruby red color. When swirling the wine glass, this red wine reveals a high viscosity, which can be seen in the strong stained glass windows at the edge of the glass. This single-varietal Italian wine reveals wonderfully expressive notes of black cherries, morello cherries, plums and prunes in the glass. There are also hints of cocoa bean, cinnamon and forest floor.
The Cavallotto Langhe Nebbiolo is wonderfully dry. This red wine is never coarse or austere, as you would expect from a top-quality wine. On the finish, this wine from the Piedmont wine-growing region, which ages well, finally impresses with its beautiful length. There are again hints of plum and black cherry.
Vinification of the Cavallotto Langhe Nebbiolo
This red wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Nebbiolo. Only flawless grapes were brought in for this wonderfully powerful varietal wine from Cavallotto. Without question, the Langhe Nebbiolo is also determined by climatic and stylistic factors Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC. This Italian wine can literally be described as a wine of the Old World, which presents itself in an extraordinarily impressive way. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are transported to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in large wooden vats at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation for several months in oak barrels.
Recommendation for Cavallotto Langhe Nebbiolo
