More information about Le Petit Pas rouge Côtes du Roussillon AOP - Mas Janeil

The Le Petit Pas rouge Côtes du Roussillon of Mas Janeil from Languedoc-Roussillon offers a dense purple color in the glass. In the glass, this red wine from Mas Janeil shows aromas of blackberries and plums, complemented by licorice and smoky. The Mas Janeil Le Petit Pas rouge Côtes du Roussillon presents itself to the wine drinker wonderfully dry. This red wine never shows itself coarse or meager, but round and smooth. On the palate, the texture of this powerful red wine is wonderfully light. In the finish, this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region Languedoc-Roussillon finally inspires with considerable length. Once again, hints of plum and blackberry appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the limestone and slate dominated soils are added.

Vinification of the Mas Janeil Le Petit Pas rouge Côtes du Roussillon

This powerful red wine from France is cuvée from the grape varieties Carignan, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah. In Languedoc-Roussillon, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone and slate. The grapes for this red wine from France, when perfectly ripe, are harvested exclusively by hand. After the hand harvest, the grapes immediately enter the press house. Here they are selected and gently broken up. Fermentation follows in concrete and large wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for 10 months in oak barrels.

Food pairing for Mas Janeil Le Petit Pas rouge Côtes du Roussillon
