Le Rosé de Mouton Cadet from the Bordeaux wine-growing region presents itself in the glass in brilliantly shimmering strawberry pink. On the palate, Le Rosé de Mouton Cadet from Baron Philippe de Rothschild starts pleasantly dry, grippy and aromatic. Some wines are dry on the label, others really are. This rosé wine belongs to the latter group, as it was vinified with only 1.6 grams of residual sugar. With its vital fruit acidity, Le Rosé de Mouton Cadet presents an exceptionally fresh and lively palate. The final of this youthful rosé wine from the wine-growing region of Bordeaux finally convinces with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the limestone-dominated soils.
Vinification of Le Rosé de Mouton Cadet from Baron Philippe de Rothschild
This elegant rosé wine from France is vinified from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. In Bordeaux, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone. After the grape harvest, the grapes arrive at the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After its end, Le Rosé de Mouton Cadet can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months....
Food recommendation for the Le Rosé de Mouton Cadet by Baron Philippe de Rothschild
This French rosé wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to potato pan with salmon, vegetable stew with pesto or lemon chili chicken with bulgur.
