Vinification of the Deutzerhof Légère Cuvée Red
The elegant Légère Cuvée Rot from Germany is a cuvée pressed from the grape varieties Dornfelder, Regent and Spätburgunder. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Ahr region. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of slate and loess. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and large wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Légère Cuvée Red is aged for several months in oak barrels.
