More information about Les Carretals Minervois AOC - Anne Gros & Jean-Paul Tollot

The Les Carretals Minervois from the pen of Anne Gros & Jean-Paul Tollot from Burgundy reveals a dense ruby color in the glass. With some sideways lay, the red wine glass reveals a charming garnet red hue at the rims. As the wine glass swirls, this red wine reveals a high density and richness, evident in distinct church windows at the rim of the glass. Poured into a red wine glass, this Old World red wine offers wonderfully expressive aromas of plum and blackberry, rounded out by other fruity nuances.

The Anne Gros & Jean-Paul Tollot Les Carretals Minervois impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Frenchman enchants naturally with all dryness with the finest balance. Taste does not necessarily need a lot of sugar. On the palate, the texture of this powerful red wine is wonderfully dense. The finale of this mature red wine from the wine-growing region of Burgundy finally thrilled with considerable reverberation. Les Carretals Minervois is an Old World wine through and through, because this Frenchman exudes an extraordinary European charm, which clearly underlines the success of wines from the Old World. After the grapes are harvested by hand, they immediately arrive at the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.

Food recommendation for the Les Carretals Minervois by Anne Gros & Jean-Paul Tollot
