High quality at a low price - Les Jamelles Winery
A shared passion
Since 1995, the wines of Les Jamelles have been produced by Catherine and Laurent Delaunay themselves. The two winegrowers in Pays d'Oc in the south of France vinify with craftsmanship, down-to-earthness and a strong personality.
Both come from Burgundy and come from families that are now in their fourth generation of wine-making. After a stopover in California, Catherine and Laurent Delaunay moved back to France.
The oenologist Catherine Delaunay
She is the winemaker of Jamelles wines. With much love and devotion she crosses the vineyards of the region all year round, visits partner wineries, supervises the winemaking process and takes care of the vinification.
So close to the Languedoc
Rare & Antique
Les Jamelles offers a unique selection of Languedoc wines, most of which have already been forgotten. Grape varieties such as:
- Roussanne
- Marsanne
- Mourvedre
are brought closer again to the wine connoisseur as pure wines in the line Cepage Rare.
Classiques and Sélection Spéciale from Les Jamelles
With its wines from the classic line, Les Jamelles lets each individual grape variety speak for itself - in particular, the unique personality and character strength of each grape variety should be perfectly accentuated.
The wines Sélection Spéciale present the high art of cuvetting. Carefully aged in barriques, the wines of this line are characterized by complexity, balance and skill.
