Les Meysonniers Crozes-Hermitage AOC 2018 - M. Chapoutier
The Les Meysonniers Crozes-Hermitage by M. Chapoutier shows a red-violet color in the glass. On the nose unfolds a rich bouquet of red berries, with cassis and raspberry, delicate violet chunks in the background. On the palate, this red French wine presents itself deep and round in the taste, with lively fruit aromas, some oak and vanilla, ending in the long, soft finish.
Vinification of Les Meysonniers Crozes-Hermitage by M. Chapoutier
The red wine Les Meysonniers is a varietal Syrah. The grapes grow on Mount Hermitage and are biodynamically cultivated and certified, derived from vines at least 25 years old.
After the selective harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented at controlled temperature. The wine ages then 6 months in oak barrels.
Food pairing for the Les Meysonniers Crozes-Hermitage by M. Chapoutier
We recommend this Syrah from the Rhône to dark meat and powerful poultry dishes, such as goose or guinea fowl, to venison, as well as to ripened hard cheese.
