More information about Les Terres Blanches AOC - Pascal Jolivet

The light-footed Les Terres Blanches from the pen of Pascal Jolivet comes into the glass with a brilliant light yellow. Swiveling the wine glass, this white wine is characterized by an immense lightness that makes it dance nimbly in the glass. In the bouquet of this white wine from the wine-growing region of the Val de Loire we sense nuances of all kinds of red and black berry fruits, complemented by spicy nuances. This wine delights with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would naturally expect from a wine in the top wine range, this Frenchman naturally enraptures with the finest balance despite all its dryness. Taste does not necessarily need sugar. Light-footed and multi-layered, this silky white wine presents itself on the palate. The final of this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of the Val de Loire, more precisely from Pouilly-Fumé & Pouilly-sur-Loire, finally convinces with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the soils dominated by flint and limestone.

Vinification of the Les Terres Blanches by Pascal Jolivet

The elegant Les Terres Blanches from France is a single varietal wine, made from the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in the Val de Loire. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of flint and limestone. The grapes for this white wine from France, when perfectly ripe, are harvested exclusively by hand . After the hand harvest, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully ground. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
