The Lo-Secco from the wine-growing region of Nahe reveals itself in the glass in brilliantly shimmering rose-red hue. The perlage of this sparkling wine shines consistently and finely in the glass. The first nose of the Lo-Secco testifies to apples, quinces and pears. The fruity parts of the bouquet are joined by more fruity-balsamic nuances.
The Lorenz & Söhne Lo-Secco presents itself pleasantly dry to the connoisseur. This sparkling wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. The finale of this sparkling wine from the wine-growing region Nahe, more precisely from Bad Kreuznach, finally inspires with considerable reverberation.
Vinification of the Lorenz & Söhne Lo-Secco
The starting point for the first-class and wonderfully elegant Cuvée Lo-Secco from Lorenz & Söhne are Siegerrebe and Muskateller grapes. When perfectly ripe, the grapes for Lo-Secco are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective machines. Following the harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the pressing house. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. Then the fermentation of the base wines takes place.

This German sparkling wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to roasted trout with ginger pear, wok vegetables with fish or asparagus salad with quinoa.
