The powerful Loidana PrioratQ from the house of Marco Abella glides into the glass with a dense purple color. The bouquet of this red wine from Catalonia captivates with aromas of blueberry, blackcurrant, mulberry and blackberry. If we trace the aromatics further, cinnamon, dark chocolate and oriental spices are added.
The Marco Abella Loidana PrioratQ delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would naturally expect from a wine in the high quality wine range, this Spaniard naturally enraptures with the finest balance despite all its dryness. Taste does not necessarily need a lot of sugar. On the tongue, this punchy red wine is characterized by an incredibly light texture. The final of this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of Catalonia, more precisely from Priorat DOQ, finally impresses with good reverberation.
Vinification of the Marco Abella Loidana PrioratQ
The powerful Loidana PrioratQ from Spain is a cuvée, made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cariñena and Garnacha. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and small wood at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the Loidana PrioratQ can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months. Once the wine is finished, the Loidana PrioratQ is carefully harmonized.
