Vinification of the Lokalmatador Riesling Sauvignon Blanc from Weingut Hammel
The basis for the balanced Lokalmatador Riesling Sauvignon Blanc from Germany is grapes from the Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc grape varieties. The vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on loam and loess soils in the Palatinate. After harvesting, the grapes are transported to the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the local hero Riesling Sauvignon Blanc can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
