Again, hints of peach and green apple appear. In the finish, mineral notes of the soils dominated by volcanic rock and clay are added.
Vinification of Cà du Ferrà Luccicante Vermentino Colline Di Levanto
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Vermentino. Only impeccable grapes were used for this wonderfully balanced varietal wine from Cà du Ferrà. In Liguria, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay and volcanic rock. After the manual harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After its end, the Luccicante Vermentino Colline Di Levanto can harmonize further for a few months on the fine lees.
