The Luna d'Or Prosecco Spumante Extra Dry by Le Contesse from Friuli-Venezia Giulia reveals a brilliant, platinum yellow color when swirled in the glass. The perlage of this sparkling wine shines consistently and finely in the glass. Poured into a sparkling wine glass, this sparkling wine from the Old World reveals wonderfully youthful aromas of grapefruit, orange, lemongrass and pink grapefruit, rounded off with garrigue, Mediterranean herbs and lovage.
The Le Contesse Luna d'Or Prosecco Spumante Extra Dry delights with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. The basis for the elegant Luna d'Or Prosecco Spumante Extra Dry from Veneto are grapes from the Glera grape variety. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are quickly brought to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. The base wines are then fermented. Once the cuvée has been assembled, further ageing takes place using the Charmat method. Le Contesse Luna d'Or Prosecco Spumante Extra Dry then matures in the bottle for a few months before being disgorged.
