The Farnese Vini Lunatico Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo is a first-class rosé wine. It reveals a wonderfully brilliant, bright red color. This rosé from Farnese Vini is ideal for all wine lovers who like it dry. However, it is never austere or brittle, as you would naturally expect from a wine above the 4 euro mark. On the tongue, this light-footed rosé wine is characterized by an incredibly light texture. Thanks to the moderate fruit acidity, the Lunatico Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo flatters the palate with a velvety sensation without lacking in juicy liveliness. The finish of this youthful rosé wine from the Abruzzo wine-growing region impresses with a beautiful aftertaste.
Vinification of the Lunatico Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo from Farnese Vini
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, namely Montepulciano. Only first-class grapes were harvested for this exceptionally elegant single-varietal wine from Farnese Vini. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by ageing on the fine lees for a few months before the wine is finally bottled.
