This Farnese Vini red wine reveals all kinds of plums, blackcurrants, blackberries, mulberries and morello cherries to the nose. As if that wasn't already impressive, the ageing in stainless steel adds further aromas such as gingerbread spice, cocoa bean and cinnamon.
The Farnese Vini Lunatico Montepulciano d'Abruzzo impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with exceptionally low residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine above the 4-euro mark, this Italian naturally delights with the finest balance despite its dryness. Taste does not necessarily need sugar. The finish of this youthful red wine from the Abruzzo wine-growing region ultimately impresses with a beautiful aftertaste.
Vinification of the Lunatico Montepulciano d'Abruzzo from Farnese Vini
This balanced red wine from Italy is made from the Montepulciano grape variety. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by ageing on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
