Malusel - Borgo Dei Posséri

With the Borgo Dei Posséri Malusel comes a first-class white wine in the crystal clear glass. There it shows a wonderfully bright, pale yellow color. To the nose, this Borgo Dei Posséri white wine shows all sorts of roses and jasmine. As if that were not already impressive, further aromas such as cloves are added by the expansion in small wooden barrels.

This Italian wine tastes pleasantly dry. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine, this Italian naturally enraptures with the finest balance for all its dryness. Aroma does not necessarily need sugar. Balanced and multifaceted, this crisp white wine presents itself on the palate. In the finish, this wine from the wine-growing region Trentino-Alto Adige finally inspires with beautiful length. Once again, hints of jasmine and rose appear. In the finish, mineral notes of the soils dominated by weathered rock join in.

Vinification of Malusel from Borgo Dei Posséri

The balanced Malusel from Italy is a cuvée, pressed from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in Trentino-Alto Adige. Here the vines dig their roots deep into soils of weathered rock. After harvesting, the grapes quickly reach the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and small wood at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging for 18 months in oak barriques.

Recommendation for the Malusel of Borgo Dei Posséri

This Italian is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompaniment to spaghetti with caper and tomato sauce, leek tortilla or stir-fried vegetables with fish.
