Marchese Antinori Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG 1,5 l Magnum in HK 2017 - Tenuta Tignanello
The Marchese Antinori Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG from Tenuta Tignanello shines in an intense dark ruby red in the glass. On the nose, fruity, varietal aromas of Sangiovese, supplemented by vanilla and spicy nuances, inspire. On the palate the Marchese Antinori Riserva presents itself with an elegant texture, balanced, tasty, lively, engaging, with soft, soft and silky tannins. The finish is long and persistent.
Vinification of Marchese Antinori Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG from Tenuta Tignanello
This Chianti Classico Riserva presents the Sangiovese of this wine-growing region in all its quality and elegance. For this wine at least 90% Sangiovese and at most 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and other local red grape varieties are vinified.
Upon arrival in the cellar, the grapes are destemmed and then gently pressed. The must is then poured into stainless steel tanks where the alcoholic fermentation takes place. During the maceration on the skins, the Remuage and Délestage techniques are applied very gently to ensure intensive extraction while maintaining the elegance and smoothness of the tannins. After the malolactic fermentation, which is spontaneous until the end of the year, the cuvée is then made and the wine is matured in French and Hungarian oak barrels for one year, followed by another 12 months in the bottle.
The Marchese Antinori Riserva is one of the historic Antinori wines. It is produced only in the best years, from the best grapes of the Badia a Passignano, Pèppoli and Tignanello wineries. Since the 2011 vintage, the grapes come exclusively from the Tenuta Tignanello, in whose cellar it is also matured.
