With the Chateau la Fortune Margaux Rouge comes a first-class red wine in the wine glass. In this it shows a wonderfully bright purple color. After the first swirl, one can perceive a perfect balance in this red wine, because it stands out on the walls of the glass neither watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like. The first nose of Margaux Rouge flatters with notes of plum mousse, blueberries and Mon Cheri cherry. The fruity components of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel aging such as even more fruity-balsamic nuances.
On the palate, Chateau la Fortune's Margaux Rouge opens delightfully dry, grippy and aromatic. On the tongue, this well-balanced red wine is characterized by a tremendously fleshy texture. On the finish, this youthful red wine from the Bordeaux wine-growing region finally delights with exceptional length. Once again, hints of wild berry jam and plum jam show through.
