With the Marqués de Riscal Marqués de Riscal Blanco Rueda comes a first-class white wine in the swirled glass. In this it reveals a wonderfully bright, pale yellow color. To the nose, this Marqués de Riscal white wine presents all manner of physalis, gooseberries, gallia melon, star fruit and mangoes. As if that wasn't already impressive, Mediterranean herbs, lovage and garrigue join in due to the aging in stainless steel.
This Spanish wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with 2.8 grams of residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Spaniard enchants naturally with all dryness with the finest balance. Excellent taste does not necessarily require a lot of sugar. On the tongue, this balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly crisp and light texture. Due to its lively fruit acid, the Marqués de Riscal Blanco Rueda reveals itself wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. The final of this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of Castile - León, more precisely from Rueda DO, finally thrills with good reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets of the soils dominated by sand and gravel.
Vinification of the Marqués de Riscal Marqués de Riscal Blanco Rueda
The balanced Marqués de Riscal Blanco Rueda from Spain is a single varietal wine, made from the Verdejo grape variety. In Castile - León, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of sand, limestone and gravel. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
