More information
In the glass, the organically produced Marselan from Domaine Sibille offers a dense purple color. Poured into a red wine glass, this red wine from the Old World offers wonderfully expressive aromas of raspberry, blackberry and sour cherry, rounded off by garrigue and toasted wood.
On the palate, the Marselan from Domaine Sibille starts pleasantly aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. On the palate, the texture of this punchy red wine presents itself wonderfully silky and fleshy. In the finish, this red wine from the wine-growing region Languedoc-Roussillon finally inspires with beautiful length. There are again hints of blackberry and sour cherry. In the reverberation, mineral notes of the sandstone-dominated soils are added.
Vinification of the Marselan from Domaine Sibille
The powerful Marselan from France is a cuvée, organically pressed from the grape varieties Marselan and Syrah. In Languedoc-Roussillon, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of sandstone. After the harvest, the grapes arrive at the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Marselan can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
Supper recommendation for Domaine Sibille Marselan
This French red wine is best enjoyed tempered at 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to veal boiled beef with beans and tomatoes, lamb stew with chickpeas and dried figs or braised chicken in red wine.
