On the palate, La Sibilla's Marsiliano opens wonderfully dry, grippy and aromatic. On the tongue, this well-balanced red wine is characterized by an immensely dense, fleshy and velvety texture. Finally, on the finish, this wine from the wine-growing region of Campania delights with beautiful length. There are again hints of plum. In the reverberation, mineral notes of the soils dominated by sand and volcanic rock are added.
Vinification of Marsiliano from La Sibilla
This balanced red wine from Italy is made from the grape varieties Sciascinoso, Nero d'Avola, Piedirosso and Cuvée. In Campania, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of sand and volcanic rock. After the grape harvest, the grapes arrive quickly at the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks and small wood at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the elegant Marsiliano is aged for another 8 months in oak barriques.
