Vinification of Torre Dei Beati Mazzamurello Montepulciano D'Abruzzo
The basis for the powerful Mazzamurello Montepulciano D'Abruzzo from Italy are grapes from the grape variety Montepulciano. In Abruzzo, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay and limestone. After the manual harvest, the grapes arrive at the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and small wood at controlled temperatures. After the completion of fermentation, the powerful Mazzamurello Montepulciano D'Abruzzo is aged for another 20 months in oak barrels.
