Der Merlot von Casillero del Diablo ist ein teuflisch guter, reinsortiger Rotwein aus Chile.
Im Glas erstrahlt dieser Wein in einem satten Dunkelrot mit rubinroten Schimmer. Die Nase wird von ausdrucksstarken Aromen nach reifen Pflaumen und Anklängen an Vanille und Würze verführt. Auch am Gaumen ist die Pflaume wunderbar präsent und wird von weichen Tannine in den lang anhaltenden, vanilligen Abgang begleitet.
