More information
The Cheval d'Or Merlot is a first-class red wine in the wine glass. In this it offers a wonderfully bright, purple color. Poured into a red wine glass, this red wine from the Old World offers wonderfully expressive aromas of blueberry, plum, black currant and morello cherry, rounded off by black tea, gingerbread spice and vanilla.
The Cheval d'Or Merlot delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Frenchman enchants naturally with all dryness with the finest balance. Taste does not necessarily require a lot of residual sugar. On the tongue, this balanced red wine is characterized by an incredibly velvety texture. In the finish, this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of the Languedoc finally inspires with good length. Once again, hints of plum and mulberry show through.
Vinification of the Merlot from Cheval d'Or
This balanced red wine from France is made from the Merlot grape variety. After the hand harvest, the grapes immediately enter the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Merlot can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months....
