More information
The Merlot Raboso from the Veneto wine-growing region has a brilliant shimmering purple-red color in the glass. The first nose of the Merlot Raboso reveals plums, blackcurrants and morello cherries. The fruity parts of the bouquet are joined by even more fruity, balsamic nuances.
This wine impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with just 8 grams of residual sugar. This is by no means a matter of course for a wine in the entry-level range, so this Italian naturally delights with the finest balance despite its dryness. Aroma does not necessarily require a lot of residual sugar. On the palate, this light-footed red wine is characterized by an incredibly dense texture. The Merlot Raboso is impressively fresh and lively on the palate thanks to its present fruit acidity. On the finish, this red wine from the Veneto wine-growing region finally delights with good length. Once again, there are hints of morello cherry and blackcurrant.
Vinification of the Merlot Raboso from Cielo e Terra
This elegant red wine from Italy is made from the Merlot and Raboso grape varieties. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once it has finished, the Merlot Raboso can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
Dining recommendations for Cielo e Terra Merlot Raboso
