The basis for the elegant Metzger Schmuckstück rot from Rheinhessen are grapes from the grape varieties Acolon, Cabernet Dorio and Cabernet Dorsa. After the hand harvest, the grapes immediately reach the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks and small wood at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging for several months in oak barriques.
