The bubbles of this sparkling wine are wonderfully long-lasting and fine in the glass. When swirling the glass, this sparkling wine is characterized by a fascinating lightness that makes it dance lively in the glass. In the glass, this sparkling wine from Casa Rojo displays aromas of lemons, oranges, pink grapefruit, limes and vineyard peach, complemented by cream candy, yeast plait and brioche. This white from Casa Rojo is ideal for those who like as little residual sweetness in the wine as possible. At the same time, however, it never shows itself to be meager or brittle, as one would naturally expect in a premium and site wine segment. On the tongue, this light-footed sparkling wine is characterized by an incredibly crisp texture. Due to its present fruit acidity, the Molto Negre Cava reveals itself wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this Cava from the wine-growing region of Catalonia finally inspires with beautiful length. There are again hints of apple and kumquat.
Vinification of the Molto Negre Cava from Casa Rojo
This elegant cava from Spain is made from the Trepat grape variety. Without question, the Molto Negre Cava is also determined by climate and viticultural style Penedès DO. This Spaniard can be called an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, and it is extraordinarily impressive. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly brought to the winery. Here they are selected and gently pressed. Then the fermentation of the base wines takes place.
