Vinification of Monleale 1.5 l Magnum from Vigneti Massa
The basis for the powerful Monleale 1.5 l Magnum from the Piedmont are grapes from the grape variety Barbera. In Piedmont, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay and limestone. After the manual harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and small wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the powerful Monleale 1.5 l Magnum is still aged for 28 months in oak barriques.
