More information
The Montecitorio Derthona 1.5 l magnum from the pen of Vigneti Massa from Piedmont offers a dense ruby color in the wine glass. The first nose of Montecitorio Derthona 1.5 l Magnum flatters with nuances of blackberries and raspberries. The fruity parts of the bouquet are joined by more fruity-balsamic nuances.
This wine tastes pleasantly dry. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. Here it is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Italian enchants naturally with all dryness with the finest balance. Excellent taste does not necessarily need a lot of sugar. This fleshy, dense and velvety red wine presents itself on the palate with pressure and complexity. The final of this red wine from the wine-growing region of Piedmont finally convinces with beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by marl. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in Piedmont. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of marl. After the hand harvest, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled.
