More information
The Montefalco Grechetto from the Veneto wine-growing region is a bright golden yellow in the glass. This single-varietal Italian wine presents wonderfully elegant notes of peach, mirabelle plum, lemon and apple in the glass. There are also hints of almond.
The Adanti Montefalco Grechetto is pleasantly dry for wine connoisseurs. This white wine is never coarse or austere, as you would expect from a wine. On the palate, this balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly velvety texture. On the finish, this white wine from the Veneto wine-growing region impresses with its considerable length. Once again, there are hints of peach. Mineral notes from the clay-dominated soil are added to the finish.
Vinification of the Montefalco Grechetto from Adanti
The basis for the balanced Montefalco Grechetto from Italy is grapes from the Grechetto grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Veneto. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into clay soils. When perfect physiological ripeness is ensured, the grapes for Montefalco Grechetto are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective grape harvesters. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Montefalco Grechetto can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
Wine pairing recommendation for the Montefalco Grechetto from Adanti
