More information

The Montefalco Rosso from the pen of Adanti from Veneto presents a brilliant ruby color in the glass. Poured into a red wine glass, this red wine from Italy offers wonderfully complex aromas of plum, rounded off by other fruity nuances that the barrel aging contributes.

The Adanti Montefalco Rosso presents itself to the wine lover wonderfully dry. This red wine never shows itself coarse or meager, but round and smooth. On the tongue, this light-footed red wine is characterized by an incredibly velvety texture. The final of this red wine from the wine-growing region of Veneto finally thrills with extraordinary reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the clay-dominated soils.

Vinification of Adanti Montefalco Rosso

The elegant Montefalco Rosso from Italy is a cuvée, pressed from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Barbera, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sagrantino. In Veneto, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay. The grapes for this red wine from Italy, after ensuring optimal ripeness, are harvested exclusively by hand. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly transferred to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off.

Recommendation for Montefalco Rosso by Adanti

Enjoy this red wine from Italy best tempered at 15 - 18 ° C as an accompaniment to Boeuf Bourguignon, osso buco or lamb stew with chickpeas and dried figs.
