More information
The La Piuma Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is a first-class red wine in a glass. It offers a wonderfully bright, ruby red color. This single-varietal Italian wine reveals wonderfully expressive notes of blackberries, blackcurrants, blueberries and mulberries in the glass. There are also hints of dark chocolate, cocoa bean and black tea.
This Italian wine impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with 3.4 grams of residual sugar. This is a genuine quality wine that clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so, despite its dryness, this Italian naturally delights with the finest balance. Excellent taste does not necessarily require residual sugar. This silky red wine is balanced and complex on the palate. With its vital fruit acidity, Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. The finish of this youthful red wine from the Abruzzo wine-growing region, more precisely from Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC, is impressive with a remarkable aftertaste.
Vinification of La Piuma Montepulciano d'Abruzzo
This balanced red wine from Italy is made from the Montepulciano grape variety. After the harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months. Once the wine is finished, the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is carefully harmonized.
