The Morrison family in the Lowlands has been in the whisky business for more than five generations - as grocers, brokers, bottlers and distillers - making it one of the oldest whisky families in Scotland. Here at Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers, you're family. While you may not all be related by blood, everyone on the team shares the same values that form the core of the Morrison family: Integrity, Patience and Intuition.

Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers is solely owned and operated today by one of Scotland's oldest and best-known whisky families, Jamie and Brian Morrison. It marks the return of the Morrison family to the distillery after Brian Morrison sold Morrison Bowmore Distillers after nearly 25 years. With every whisky you bring to market, you strive to pass on the distilling knowledge you've learned from generations of whisky makers in the family, while also innovating.

The Distillery in the Lowlands

The Distillery in the Lowlands is a "barley to bottle" operation, focused on producing a rich, fruity and waxy whisky with occasional peat use. Today, they use mostly Golden Promise, a historic barley variety that has not been used by the whisky industry for a number of years and is grown on their own farm. The distillers strive to honor their ancestors by keeping the traditions of whiskey making at the heart of what they do, while opening themselves up to innovation.

They demonstrate a unique balancing act between the old and the new with their diverse whiskey portfolio. The range currently includes a selection of rare and limited:
