The Mount Hermon Indigo from Golan Heights Winery in the wine-growing region of Golan / Galilee is a fruit-driven, balanced and lively red wine cuvée vinified from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. 

In the glass, this wine shimmers in a rich cherry red with purple highlights. The expressive bouquet enchants the nose with fruity aromas of juicy raspberries and ripe black cherries. Spicy notes of anise and cocoa as well as floral nuances complement the fruit aromas. On the palate, this red wine convinces with a wonderful harmony of the medium body and the aromas of the nose. The lively texture gives this wine its light-hearted nature and wonderful drinkability. 

Vinification of the Golan Heights Winery Mount Hermon Indigo

The Galilee is the northernmost and best appellation of the Israeli settlement. It is also one of the coldest regions. The vineyards are located on a plateau at an altitude of about 400 to 1200 meters.

After the grapes arrive at the winery of Golan Heights Winery, they are first gently pressed. Then the fermentation process takes place in stainless steel tanks. This red wine undergoes complete malolactic fermentation and is bottled unfiltered.
