More information
The elegant Murmuri Priorat from Mas Doix comes into the glass with a bright light yellow color. Swiveling the glass, you can perceive a perfect balance in this white wine, because it does not stand out on the walls of the glass neither watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like. Poured into a white wine glass, this Old World white shows wonderfully expressive aromas of peach, vineyard peach, apricot and nectarine, rounded out by juniper, sun-warmed rock and gingerbread spice.
This white from Mas Doix is perfect for all wine lovers who like as little sweetness in their wine as possible. Yet it never shows itself to be barren or brittle, but round and smooth. Balanced and complex, this fleshy white wine presents itself on the palate. Due to the balanced fruit acidity, the Murmuri Priorat flatters with a soft palate feeling, without lacking juicy liveliness. In the finish, this well storable white wine from the wine-growing region of Catalonia finally inspires with good length. Hints of vineyard peach and peach are again evident.
Vinification of the Mas Doix Murmuri Priorat
This balanced white wine from Spain is made from Grenache Blanc and Viura grape varieties. Clearly, the Murmuri Priorat is also determined by climate and viticultural style Priorat DOQ. This Spaniard can be called an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, which presents itself extraordinarily impressive. When perfectly ripe, the grapes for Murmuri Priorat are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective full harvesters. After the harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
Food recommendation for the Murmuri Priorat from Mas Doix
