Light-footed and multifaceted, this light rosé wine presents itself on the palate. Due to its vital fruit acidity, the Muskat Rosé shows itself impressively fresh and lively on the palate. The finish of this youthful rosé wine from the wine-growing region of Württemberg finally convinces with good reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the soils dominated by marl and sandstone.
Vinification of the winery Leon Gold Muskat Rosé
The basis for the elegant Muskat Rosé from Württemberg are grapes from the Muskat-Trollinger grape variety. In Württemberg, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of sandstone and marl. After harvesting, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Muskat Rosé is left to mature on its fine lees for several months.
