In the eyes of many wine critics, the wide range makes the winery appear as a mass producer, without any sense of quality. This, however, is simply wrong. The team with luminaries such as Andrea Freeborough (cellar master), Bennie Liebenberg (winemaker), Natasha Boks (white wine winemaker) and Samuel Viljoen (red wine winemaker) really knows how to fill every winerange. From entry level wines to premium ranges.

The Heritage Heroes Range is aimed at the wine connoisseur with high expectations and certainly belongs to the upper class. The names of this wine collection commemorate personalities who have left their mark on the history of the winery. Nederburg's Winemaster 's Reserve Collection also offers elegant, easy-drinking wines. Finally, the Ingenuity line can convince with its fine aromatics and gentle tannins. The wines of the Ingenuity series are the result of the experimentation and ingenuity of the oenologists at Nederburg. They combine traditional with lesser-known grape varieties, expose them to innovative winemaking techniques, and reinvent themselves whenever the result doesn't fit. Their goal is originality and with the highest expression of their craftsmanship.

Nederburg can look back on over 220 years of experience in viticulture. The winery also stands outside the borders of South Africa for high-quality as well as diverse wines, which makes them the most awarded wine producer in South Africa. The foundation for the success story of the winery was once laid by Philippus Wolvaart. The hard-working farmer with great visions and German roots founded the winery in 1791 at the Cape, below the imposing Drakenstein Mountains in Paarl. Thanks to the excellent climatic conditions and the great passion from the beginning, the winery quickly developed into the most famous estates in the region.
