More information
With the Binigrau Negre comes a first-class red wine in the swirled glass. In this it presents a wonderfully dense ruby color. At the edge, this Spanish red also shows a transition to garnet red. If you give it some air in the wine glass by swirling, this red wine reveals a high viscosity, which shows in church windows at the edge of the glass. In the glass, this Binigrau red wine presents aromas of plum, complemented by cinnamon, tobacco and black cherry. The Binigrau Negre presents itself to the connoisseur wonderfully dry. This red wine never shows itself coarse or meager, as one might expect from a wine top wine range. On the tongue, this powerful red wine is characterized by a tremendously powerful texture. In the finish, this matured red wine from the wine-growing region of the Balearic Islands finally thrills with considerable length. There are again hints of plum.
Vinification of the Negre from Binigrau
This powerful red wine from Spain is made from the grape varieties Callet, Manto Negro and Merlot. After the hand harvest, the grapes immediately reach the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by 16 months of aging in French oak barrels.
