The Nero D'Avola Eloro from the wine-growing region of Sicily presents itself in the glass in bright purple. The first nose of Nero D'Avola Eloro flatters with notes of sour cherry, currant, blueberry and blackberry. The fruity parts of the bouquet are joined by more fruity-balsamic nuances.
On the palate, Curto's Nero D'Avola Eloro opens delightfully dry, grippy and aromatic. On the tongue, this balanced red wine is characterized by an incredibly fleshy and dense texture. Finally, the finale of this red wine from the wine-growing region of Sicily, more precisely from Sicilia DOC, captivates with beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the limestone-dominated soils.
Vinification of Curto Nero D'Avola Eloro
This balanced red wine from Italy is made from the Nero d'Avola grape variety. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in Sicily. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of limestone. After manual harvesting, the grapes are quickly taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled.
