The Nespoli Prugneto Sangiovese di Romagna Superior DOC from Poderi dal Nespoli presents itself in the glass in an intense ruby red with aromas of violets, cherries and plums.
The notes from the bouquet are reflected on the palate and are accompanied by a long, spicy finish.
Vinification of the Nespoli Prugneto
Prugneto is the name of the vineyard from which the grapes for this single-varietal Sangiovese come. This vineyard was the first to be purchased by the Ravaioli family and is still a reference for the wines of this region today.
In order to improve the structure and complexity of this wine, a small part of the Nespoli Prugneto was matured for 6 months in French oak barrels.
