This balanced red wine from Italy is made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Vermentino Nero, Ciliegiolo, Garnacha, Merlot and Syrah. In Liguria, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay. At the time of optimal ripeness, the grapes for Ngilu Colline di Levanto Rosso are harvested exclusively by hand without the use of punishing and less selective full harvesters. After the hand harvest, the grapes reach the press house in the fastest way possible. Here they are selected and carefully broken up.
