In the glass, this wine shimmers a clear straw yellow with golden highlights. The nose is spoiled by an intense, dense bouquet. It reveals a fruity aroma of lots of ripe yellow fruits (apricot, peach), sun-ripened citrus fruits and nuances of blood oranges. This is joined - thanks to the slate soil - by a mineral spiciness.

On the palate, this first-class German white wine convinces with a spicy-crisp acid structure, long-lasting freshness and firm, yet slender body. A hint of salty minerality is also present. The wonderfully long finish is accompanied by mineral hints and plenty of stone fruit.
