The first nose of the No. 9 Riesling presents notes of grapefruit, orange and pomelo. The fruity aspects of the bouquet are joined by more fruity-balsamic nuances.

This German wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with 6.4 grams of residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine in the upper price range, this German wine naturally enraptures with the finest balance despite all its dryness. Aroma does not necessarily need residual sugar. On the palate, the texture of this light-footed white wine is wonderfully crisp. Due to its concise fruit acid, the No. 9 Riesling is exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. The final of this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of the Palatinate finally convinces with good reverberation.

Vinification of the Tina Pfaffmann No. 9 Riesling

The elegant No. 9 Riesling from Germany is a single-varietal wine, vinified from the Riesling grape variety. After the hand harvest, the grapes arrive at the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the No. 9 Riesling can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for several months.

Food recommendation for the Tina Pfaffmann No. 9 Riesling

This German white wine is best enjoyed well chilled at 8 - 10°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to stir-fried vegetables with fish, cod with cucumber-mustard vegetables or pumpkin casserole.
