In the glass, the Oppenheimer Herrenberg Spätburgunder TBA from Weingut Manz offers a brilliantly shimmering golden yellow color. If you give it a little air by swirling, this dessert wine is characterized by a wonderful lightness that makes it dance peppy in the glass. This single varietal German wine presents wonderfully expressive notes of prunes, blackberries, mulberries and blueberries in the glass. These are joined by hints of other fruits.
The Weingut Manz Oppenheimer Herrenberg Spätburgunder TBA reveals an incredibly fruity taste to us on the palate, which is due in no small part to its residually sweet flavor profile. Light-footed and complex, this creamy dessert wine presents itself on the palate. With its lively fruit acidity, the Oppenheimer Herrenberg Spätburgunder TBA is wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. The finale of this well-matured dessert wine from the wine-growing region of Rheinhessen, more precisely from Oppenheim, finally impresses with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes of the limestone-dominated soils.
Vinification of the Winery Manz Oppenheimer Herrenberg Pinot Noir TBA
The elegant Oppenheimer Herrenberg Pinot Noir TBA from Germany is a single varietal wine, pressed from the Pinot Noir grape variety. In Rheinhessen, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone. The fact that Pinot Noir grapes thrive under the influence of a rather cool climate also has a very high influence on the development of the grapes. This manifests itself, among other things, in particularly long and even grapes and rather moderate alcohol content in the wine. After the grapes have been harvested, they are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Oppenheimer Herrenberg Spätburgunder TBA is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for several months.
