The Orgullowine Macabeo from the wine-growing region of Murcia reveals itself in the glass in bright light yellow. This Spanish cuvée presents in the glass wonderfully expressive notes of apple, pear, mirabelle plum and peach. In addition, there are hints of other fruits.
The Orgullowine Macabeo tastes pleasantly dry. It was bottled with 3.5 grams of residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this Spaniard enraptures naturally with all dryness with the finest balance. Aroma does not necessarily need sugar. Due to its present fruit acid, the Orgullowine Macabeo is impressively fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this white wine from the wine-growing region of Murcia finally inspires with beautiful length. Again, hints of acacia and lemon appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the limestone-dominated soils are still added.
Vinification of the Orgullowine Macabeo.
This balanced white wine from Spain is made from Malvasia Bianca and Viura grape varieties. In Murcia, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and gently broken up. This is followed by fermentation in the young at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled.
