More information
The Vinosia Orus Primitivo Salento is a first-class red wine. It reveals a wonderfully bright, ruby red color. This Vinosia red wine reveals all kinds of blackcurrants, blueberries, blackberries, lavender and lilac on the nose.
This Italian wine impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with 9 grams of residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine in the upper price range, this Italian wine naturally delights with the finest balance despite its dryness. Aroma does not necessarily require a lot of residual sugar. On the palate, this well-balanced red wine is characterized by an incredibly dense texture. Thanks to its present fruit acidity, Orus Primitivo Salento is exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. The finish of this youthful red wine from the Apulia wine-growing region, more precisely from Salento IGT, is convincing with a good aftertaste. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets from the limestone and clay-dominated soils.
Vinification of the Orus Primitivo Salento from Vinosia
This balanced red wine from Italy is made from the Primitivo grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Apulia. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of limestone and clay. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Orus Primitivo Salento can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for 6 months. Once the wine is finished, the Orus Primitivo Salento is carefully harmonized.
