On the tongue, this balanced rosé wine is characterized by an incredibly silky, light and crisp texture. Finally, the finish of this rosé wine from the wine-growing region of Calabria, more precisely from Bivongi DOC, delights with a beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets of the sand-dominated soils.
Vinification of Palizzi Rosato Rumbè from Altomonte
The basis for the balanced Palizzi Rosato Rumbè from Calabria are grapes from the grape variety Nerello Mascalese. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Calabria. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of sand. After harvesting, the grapes reach the pressing house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled.
